Creation:

The models are designed in the Paris design studio. The sketches come to life after perfecting the patterns. Each prototype is crafted in several materials to select the right leather for each product, according to its specific uses and needs.

The exclusivity of the raw materials is carefully selected in Paris. The smooth vegetable-tanned cowhide leathers come from French and Italian tanneries. These materials, created using environmentally friendly processes, produce slightly different skins where the grain of the leather is visible. They develop a patina over time, allowing each product to remain unique. The Precious Leathers in glazed or patent Python are chosen from Rue des Archives in the Marais. These reptile skins are selected one by one to ensure the perfection of the scales. The metalwork is crafted in Italy from quality metals that will age beautifully, ensuring that Ginès bags and small leather goods remain faithful to you season after season.

Vegetable Leather:

Vegetable-tanned leathers are carefully selected in Paris, originating from French or Italian tanneries. Few factories still use this ancient technique, which is less harmful to the planet. They come from a healthier process for working the hides to obtain deeper and more nuanced natural shades thanks to vegetable tannins such as oak, mimosa, chestnut or heather . Vegetable tanning makes each hide unique, revealing its particularities by naturally developing a patina over time. More environmentally friendly, vegetable-tanned leather can be recycled.

Leather Care:

Vegetable-tanned leather develops a patina over the seasons; each hide is unique. To keep your leather goods in good condition, it is best to waterproof them regularly. To clean and nourish them thoroughly , wipe them with a soft, pure cotton cloth, slightly dampened with leather cleaning milk, using circular motions. Then, ideally, apply a neutral beeswax or a specific wax for vegetable tanning.
